Angela Schmidt Lindsay, WHNP-BC, MSN, APRN

Women's Health Nurse Practitioner located in Johns Creek, GA

Angela chose to become a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner because she has a passion for educating women. She has 20+ years experience providing evidence based, obstetric and gynecologic care to women from adolescence through menopause. Angela believes open communication is important to assist women in making informed decisions about their health. She practices shared decision making with her patients, and recognizes the importance of empowering women with knowledge about their body. She is a passionate advocate for all women, with a desire to instill self advocacy in all her patients.

Angela brings a wealth of knowledge, experience and skill from her previous years of practice in NJ, CT, CA and GA. Annual exams, complicated gynecologic visits, contraceptive counseling, IUD insertions, sexual wellness, STD screening, Peri-menopause/Menopause evaluation, infertility evaluation, and gynecologic ultrasounds are some of the aspects of patient care she brings to our office. In addition she has a special interest in adolescents, PCOS, female sexual health and Peri-menopausal/Menopausal management of women. Angela practices with the hope to empower women about their bodies by answering all questions necessary for women to make informed decisions, whether it pertains to sexual activity or hormone replacement therapy, so they can live healthy happy lives.

Angela is a board certified Women's Health Nurse Practitioner by the National Certification Corporation (NCC). She was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area and received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of the Pacific, CA. Angela obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and her Master of Science in Nursing from Vanderbilt University, Nashville TN. She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, The National Association of Nurse Practitioners in Women's Health, The North American Menopause Society, ISSWSH and the International Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau.

Angela is also a wife and mother of 3 teenagers. When she is not working or busy keeping up with her active family, Angela enjoys playing tennis and skiing.
